Description of the Class:
This class covers all knowledge and basic skills you need to get started as a classic lash artists. You will learn multiple lashing techniques, safety precautions for applying extensions, proper eye preparation, lash extension applications tips and tricks, styling for lash extensions, taping techniques, sanitation and decontamination procedures, aftercare, business basics, and practice time on a live model (you are required to bring your own model.)
Begin your education at your own pace with our online Classic Lash Extension theory. This includes 5.5 hours of video content, downloadable worksheets, client resources, and text information. Complete this online portion before class day so you can get the most of your hands on learning.
During the hands on learning day we will spend half the day working on foundational excercised to help you build up to the skill of applying professional quality classic lash extenisons. The second half of the day you will work on your live model with educator support to practice all your leanred skills.

You will have unlimted access to our online Classic Lash Extension theory before and after the class which includes video, image, and text learning.
DISCOUNTS
All Aki Academy students will receive an indefinate 10% discount on all products by Aki Lashes.
PRE-REQUSITES
No experience or prior training needed to take this class. Certificate is presented at end of class.
Aki Lashes certificate is only to certify our lash training. Please check with your local state board for licensing requirements.
In state of California you must be either a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician to perform eyelash extensions in a salon.
Must be licensed cosmetologist or barber to perform lash lifts.
POLICIES
Policies: Please note all deposits are non-refundable. All balances must be paid 7 days prior to class date. Deposit or payment may be transfer to future class with 14 days notice. Requests to reschedule your class date with less than 14 days notice from class date are subject to a $150 rescheduling fee and may be waitlisted. If you pick up your lash kit prior to class day there are no refunds. Class payments are non-refundable. Online theory must be completed before class day or certificate will not be awarded. Student must complete live model or certificate will not be awarded. Student must provide their own live model. Aki Lashes is not liable for any injury or incident to students or models during or after the classic lash class.
